We Give Books

Would you love to make sure that children everywhere have books to read? You can! Simply read a book online and have a book donated to a leading literacy group on your behalf. WeGiveBooks.org is the venue to make this happen.

Sign in with your Facebook account, chose a campaign and start reading! New campaigns are started all the time.

To date, over a million books have been donated to programs all over the world. There is no limit to the number of books someone can help donate.

YouPD - Online Professional Development

What is a "Hack"?  A hack is a creative solution to a problem that is shared for others to try.

YouPD.org  believes the path to masterful teaching is beset with problems of practice, and that master teachers are avid, creative problem solvers, e.g. hackers.  YouPD wants to make problems and their and solutions available to educators in the name of accelerating and deepening professional learning. Whether you have or need an integration tool, a tip, a move, or an instructional method, it's a hack and other professionals can  learn from it!

Popular hacks include: Keeping students focused on Instructional Priorities, Bridging school communities with video-conferenced blended AP courses, and Lessons Learned about Classroom Management while trying to Teach Real Science.
