Software, Files, Programs, Windows, and Everything Else Will Be Saved!
Ever Wish You Could Travel Back in Time? We've all had instances in our lives where we'd give anything to be able to go back and do something from the past differently. Maybe you missed the lotto jackpot by one number. Maybe you turned down what would have been a life-changing opportunity... Or maybe your computer crashed and you lost everything - WHEN ALL YOU NEEDED WAS A SIMPLE BACK-UP PROGRAM AND EVERYTHING COULD HAVE BEEN RECOVERED - Files, software, programs, everything on your hard drive! You just can't understand how awesome this is until a system crash inevitably happens to you - you won't believe how easy it can be to restore everything on your hard drive with this one amazing program!
Guess What? It Happened To Me - Windows Died. Yep, me - the one whose ALWAYS telling people how important it is to back everything up no matter what. So, did I end up eating my words? Do I have egg on my face? NOPE. I used LapLink Disk Image, baby! That system crash picked the WRONG computer to mess with! See, my Windows 7 did the old crash & burn - it happens to everyone sooner or later. It was completely crippled. My data was gone. My programs disappeared. My system needed to be COMPLETELY restored. Now, there's a few ways you can go about doing this, and they all go badly. Very, very badly. It's Not a Matter of IF - It's a Matter of WHEN! Hard drives are mechanical. They spin. It's 100% GURANATEED that eventually, your computer is going to crash. Just like it's inevitable that your car will need repairs eventually. And when it does crash...You lose EVERYTHING! A Computer Crash Can Be DEVASTATING... Oh, and what about your software? You can spend DAYS trying to locate and reinstall your old software! Months, even! But after all that hard work, you're almost guaranteed not to have everything you did before the crash. And good luck trying to recover those old serial numbers to prove that you indeed bought that software at some point. Who just keeps that stuff lying around? Nope - if your computer crashes, you're gonna burn... Let's face it: a system crash is inevitable at some point. Be it in the form of a crash, malware or a virus. What's going to happen to all of your files, software and programs? How long will it take you to recover and reinstall everything? How much money would it end up costing you? It's going to be a miserable experience... Unless you have LapLink Disk Image, of course. Then everything is fine! Computer Crashes No Longer Mean a Thing! Before we get to any of the specifics with this program, there's a couple of things you should know: this program is very easy to use (anyone can do it) and the bottom line is this: LapLink Disk Image makes an EXACT copy (image) of your hard drive. If your PC crashes and you've used this program first, you can restore EVERYTHING back to the way it was when you did the backup by sticking the disc in and letting it do it's thing! This image can be created on another hard drive, an external drive, a zip drive, a set of CD's or DVD's - whatever works for you. It's fast and couldn't be easier to use - IT RUNS DIRECTLY THROUGH WINDOWS! That's right: software, files, programs, pictures, music...EVERYTHING! Whether you accidentally downloaded a terrible virus, are experiencing a massive PC crash, got a ton of malware, have a PC that won't start - whatever - if you've used Disk Image, you'll have access to everything you backed up before your PC kicked that digital bucket. Restore Individual Files! This is TOO cool! Disk Image allows you to restore individual files as needed! Let's just say you accidentally deleted an important file. Or somehow, you managed to corrupt a bunch of pictures you had saved on your computer. Disk Image allows you to restore ANY file you want - YOU get to pick and choose! Simply pop your disk in and choose which file to reinstall. It's laid out right in front of you, and it's a quick and easy process. No matter what happens to your files, hardware, pictures - whatever - you can rest assured that it's safely backed-up and ready to be reinstalled whenever you need to! Creating Back-Ups has NEVER Been Easier! And speaking of getting a new computer...maybe you're not aware, but most newer computer's don't come with a Windows restore disk anymore! Nope, the almighty dollar must be more important to them than customer loyalty...so get ready to shell out an extra 40 bucks on top of that new computer cost. OR use Disk Image - and restore windows on all your programs on your computer! Look at that - this program has already paid for itself! DON'T BE FOOLISH: MAKE A COPY OF YOUR SOFTWARE WITH EASE! Added Bonus: Makes Adding A Larger Hard Drive Super-EASY! Eventually you're going to run out of hard drive space. This happens to pretty much everybody, that's why external HD's are sold everywhere. Now, maybe a better idea would be to actually just put in a new, larger hard drive - but that's normally the kind of thing that would even give Stephen King nightmares! Ahh, but if you have Disk Image, it's a snap! Just create an image of your current system onto the new drive and BINGO - Install the new drive and everything is just like it was before the upgrade - except now you have all the extra space! Sweet! I'd say this alone is more than worth the cost of the program! Talk About a BRILLIANT Program - Just Look at these Features! Let's just sum this up, shall we? John from Hawesville, KY writes: I've got a problem with the "Insert" key. I can't imagine why I would ever want the insert key activated in the first place, so is there some way to completely disable it? I actually don't know anyone who appreciates the Insert key. I presume it was a useful key once upon a time in the evolution of the computer. You can find out more from the following WorldStart tip: How to use the Insert Key. To permanently disable it, you'd have to edit the Windows registry. However, since the Windows registry is a delicate (and possibly the most important aspect of the Windows Operating System), it is best not tamper with it. Even a minor mistake can lead to the dreaded Blue Screen of Death! You should rather disable the Insert key from the word processor that you use. Fortunately, by default, Microsoft Word 2010 has the Insert key disabled. If someone has enabled this key by mistake, you can disable it by going to Advanced Options in the Word Options dialog box. Let me show you how this is done. 1.) Open Microsoft Word 2010. 2.) Click the Office button, located in the top left-hand corner and then click the Word Options button. The Office Button in Microsoft Word 2010 3.) Click Advanced in the Word Options dialog box. The Word Options Dialog Box 4.) Deselect the check boxes highlighted in the image below. Remember, by default the Insert key is disabled in Microsoft Word 2010. A Shortcut to a Shortcut Keyboard shortcuts can be an almost indispensable tool, if they're simple, and if the process they bypass is done often enough to justify remembering them. Also, to be worthwhile, they must be quick and effective. But some of them combine such a tangled combination of keystrokes, and are so awkward, that I sometimes feel like I'm playing a keyboard version of Twister. Check it out here! What you'll find are outfits that are put together inspired by video games. Using Polyvore, the site's author, Amanda McGinnis, puts together outfits that are inspired by video games, or characters within the video games. I have to say she does a fantastic job! Because the site is setup on Tumblr, you'll get your basic blog style experience. That newest outfit is at the top of the page and then beneath that you can scroll through what came before. The site also offers a few awesome filters. If you want to look only at Girl or Guy outfits, you can do so by clicking the option on the right side of the page. Each entry features a complete outfit, a description of what it is inspired by, as well as a reference link. I love the reference link because if you are unfamiliar with the inspiration, you can take a peak and then come back and compare the outfit to it. Want to learn more about McGinnis and how the site got started? Then be sure to check out the About link also on the right side of the page. You can also submit suggestions for inspiration or request that she feature an outfit based on your favorite character by clicking Submit. Wanna shake up your visit and see the outfits randomly? You totally can do that by clicking Random. I love this combination! I feel like fashion + video games = an awesome site! Need to Cure a Virus Riddled Computer? How About Quickly Transferring HUGE Amounts of Data? THERE'S A CABLE THAT DOES ALL OF THIS AND MORE! One Cable. Endless Possibilities! It's a Miracle Cable Revolution... AND EVERYONE IN THE WORLD NEEDS ONE! See The Video Below! It's the Cable Used by SMART Consumers Worldwide! Now THAT'S Brilliant! When I first discovered this amazing cable, all I could think was, "WOW! Talk about a cable EVERY computer user needs!" What's it do? Why would you want one? Glad you asked! First - HOW it works: Why would you want to do that? Here's just a FEW of the ways I use mine: This is the biggie! Let's say you have an old computer laying around and you REALLY want to get the info off the old hard drive and onto your new computer. With this, just pop out the old hard drive, hook it to this little gadget, and plug the USB cable into your new computer. You just got your data back! My favorite use for this? Using it as a cheap backup device! Why not just use an internal hard drive with one of these adapters? PLUS - Once you get the data off your old hard drive, you can turn THOSE into your backup drives! Now that's my kind of recycling! So, you have a large file - or group of files - that just won't fit on your flash drive but you need to get them to another computer. Hmm. what to do... I know - grab that old hard drive sitting in your drawer and use this handy cable put them on there! After all, this cable is basically turning your old hard drive into a giant flash drive, right? Why not use it like one? Once your data has been copied, just grab the drive and cable and transfer to the computer that needs the info - problem solved! OK, this may not be for everyone, but I've done this several times with these cables and it works GREAT! See, I get a lot of people that come to me with infected computers. Well, some of those infections take HOURS to get off their computer because every time you boot Windows, the virus turns on as well. Smarter viruses then disable all the software tools you install to get rid of them! ARRGH! So, instead of taking hours to try and manually remove a bad virus, I just pop out the hard drive and - using this cable - hook it to my personal computer. Now I have access to the everything but since windows didn't boot on the infected drive, the virus STAYS DORMANT - and is helpless to stop me from killing it! A quick scan and removal with from my AV software and the problem is fixed! All thanks to this handy little cable! And those are just a FEW of the uses for this remarkable cable! Frankly, this cable is so incredibly useful that once you get it, you'll wonder how you got along without it! In fact, you gotta wonder why these aren't standard equipment with every new PC! http://store.worldstart.com/product/3564 PS - Stop getting ripped off for hard drive storage! Grab one of these and use ANY IDE or SATA drive for extra space, backup, and storage before this sale ends!
