Two Wishes A man walks into a restaurant with a full-grown ostrich behind him. The waitress asks for their orders. The man says, "A hamburger, fries and a coke," and turns to the ostrich, "What's yours"? "I'll have the same," says the ostrich. A short time later, the waitress returns with the order. "That will be $9.40 please," she says and the man reaches into his pocket and pulls out the exact change for payment. She told him she didn't know what to do. She was going to be late, but she had studied very hard for her driver's test the previous week and knew she had to obey all road signs, so she couldn't go. The officer stood up and looked over her car. Seeing no stop or construction signs, he felt slightly confused and told her he saw no sign stopping her from continuing.
