Bon Voyage Cyndee Perkins

Cyndee Perkins our Director of Curriculum and Program Development is retiring after being with Computer Explorers for over 20 years.

She will be our guest on Inside Computer Explorers, this Thursday, August 9th at 1pm central.

We want to take this opportunity to talk with her about how Tech Ed and education in general has changed over time.

Curiosity is doing more than killing the cat.

Who's got six wheels, a laser and is now on the Red Planet?  According to its Facebook page, it is  Curiosity, aka the Mars Science Laboratory rover that landed safely on Mars yesterday.

Curiosity is the biggest rover ever sent to Mars. The rover is exploring aninteresting region of the Red Planet and will be searching for evidence of past life and environments where life may have existed.

We can keep up with what is happening with Curiosity by 'liking' it on Facebook or following it on Twitter @MarsCuriosity. Curiosity has an engaging personality on its social media platforms.

More information, as well as lesson plans and activities for students can be found on the "PARTICIPATE" tab of NASA's  Mars Science Lab website.
